With our Night Owl systems, we provide you all the necessary accessories to simply plug in, install and use. For the initial set up you will require a TV/ Monitor, this will also allow you to view the live feed from the cameras. You can also download our Night Owl application to your smart device to view the live feed remotely, this last part required an internet connection with a minimum upload speed of 2 Mbps. You can use any monitor(or tv) with a vga or hdmi input, i actually have a monitor with the unit and an hdmi wire going to my tv. There is an app for android that is easy to install and I used that to check the cameras as I installed them. There is no subscription fee, the cost of the kit is complete and can use a pc monitor or tv to set it up and not have a permanent one attached. The setup wizard is very helpful and the hardest part is running the wires, and that is relatively simple.
