Good Afternoon. The DVR has a secure login that can only be accessed by someone with the login information. Additionally, our cameras have a three axis vandal proof mounting bracket as well. When placing the DVR in your home or business, we recommend keeping it in a concealed location to avoid theft. Thanks for choosing Night Owl!

You don't have anything of high enough value to warrant the equipment to squelch a camera system nor would you ever have the need to protect yourself from such. To answer your question though, yes these cameras are susceptible to electromagnetic interference. Less tv, more books.
