• You can purchase extension. I bought 1 @ best buy. Added another 100 feet

• I would same 60' to 80' of cable pretty close. I had plenty of cable left over from my house and it's 70' long. The best thing to do is find a central location in the house for the box and then run wires to it. That is your best bet.
