What happens if you extend the length of the cable past 200ft (per the specs). I understand that the unit comes with 60ft. If I were to purchase 2x 100ft cables to add to it, how will the final quality be affected? Will it not even display an image? null

Answer is yes and no.

You can extend I have. I bought some random extenders online and they work really well but at times you can tell the color is off at times. I've never extended with actual extensions from the actual company. But in theory it should not matter. These cables were high quality and rated high on the site. If it's important to you I would spend the extra money and buy from night owl and make sure. But extending dropped the quality for me you can clearly tell they aren't as sharp as the 60ft cords.

The signal will degrade or fail to be received if the cable length exceeds transmission specifications.
