• Perfect for football games. I used one at Super Bowl 52 inside US Bank stadium and the clarity and size were ideal. Could wear around neck and even put in pants and coat pocket when necessary.

• It will work but not the best for tracking fast moving ball or players. Often it takes couple seconds for the image to stabilize.

• The Aculon 8x42 binoculars would be better because of the wider field of view. The 10x25s are not as good for following motion.

• Yes, the Nikon ACULON A30 10x25 Binoculars would work to allow you to see all the plays up-close.
