• only with properly fitted filters, that allow for no light leaks. No unfiltered binoculars are safe for viewing an eclipse.

• NO. ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED to ever look at any of the suns or moons changes such as an eclipse through any binoculars or telescope to try to bring images up close for fear of possible vision damage is what I read in any reviews or product comparisons I looked at.
