“I am going to Alaska both land and cruise. Will these be good for looking for sea life while on the cruise?”

• Yes but keep in mind they are not meant for extremely long distances. I use them for guided hikes and they work great. They are also small and light weigt, great for traveling.

• I would probably opt for something more powerful for that type of distance. I used these for a concert and that pressed the limitation of the range.

• Yes absolutely these will be wonderful and very easy to carry at a reasonable price. If you want to be able to see well in low light conditions (dawn, dusk, deep in the woods) I would go with at least a 10X42 but you will sacrifice some of the lightness and portability of this set.
