“Crop Factor Will this lens crop less than the 50mm 1.8 when I take the images in for print?”

• On a DX camera that had a crop factor of 1.5, this 35mm lens performs as if it were 52mm.

• The angle of view is diffrent on these two lenses. 35mm Minimum Angle of View (DX-format) 44° Maximum Reproduction Ratio 0.16x. 50mm Maximum Angle of View (DX-format) 31°30' Maximum Angle of View (FX-format) 46° Maximum Reproduction Ratio 0.15x

• The crop factor is based on the sensor in your DSLR/SLR, not on the lens type.
