Yes, even though it’s a DX lens on a DX body there will still be a crop factor. So a 35mm will roughly be 50mm, a 50mm roughly 80 and so forth. If you want a “true” 35mm you’d need to get a 24mm lens (for a DX or a 35mm on FX).
