Is this good for group photos, I mean zoom in or out? null

This is not a zoom lens - the focal length is fixed, but it can be used for group photos (you just have to "zoom" in and out by step close or father away).

The Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G lens is a prime lens which means it does not zoom in and out. It is an excellent lens for portraits, group photos, landscapes and everything in-between.

It is an awesome lens for group pictures. But it is not a zooming lens! However, you can step forwards or backwards as needed to a better fit of your subjects into your pictures.
