There are 2 batteries that are positioning in the step through design of the frame. Many ebikes on the market provide a single battery only, however the benefit of dual batteries is the extra long range of up to 90 miles. Power is drawn from both batteries simultaneously. It uses both at the same time. So both would be 88.% or whatever. Otherwise if separate you would have to change out the battery or switch spots.

This bike has 2 batteries. And while they can be swapped front to back and vice versa. This bike pulls power from both batteries simultaneously. At least that's what is shown while riding.
