Does the iPhone light up when it is on the dock? null

No it lights up for a few seconds as it would when you plug in a normal charger

Yes if you have the option turned on in your Watch setting. It doesn’t stay on though, it will go out after a few seconds. All you have to do is slightly bump it and it will light up the time. I like mine. It glows green when lit. Easy to see.
