• It is not scratch proof by no means. Waterproof more than likely it’s stainless steel

• I’ve had mine fir six weeks and wear it all the time. I used to have the Citizen Ecodrive Skyhawk and that was exactly like this Nomad band is simply bullet proof. Scratch resistant and waterproof. Very reliable and tough.

• Not sure about waterproof, but it’s not 100% resistance to scratches, but better than other black finish metal bands

• Definitely not scratch proof! Haven’t tried with water but the only thing I’d be concerned about is potentially rust in the joints
