“Is it okay to install on carpet surface, or do I need a matt to put under?”

• I use this and my treadmill and my previous elliptical all direct on carpet with no issues. Depends how much you love that piece of carpet - over time as you do maintenance you may get oil or grease on it. In terms of stability and comfort, carpet works just fine for me. It's also a really great elliptical - super happy with mine so far.

• You can put it on carpet, but it will leave large dents in carpet because of its weight.
