I have a Modem and Router rented from Comcast. I have a new Norton Core Router and want to terminate the rental from Comcast. I need only a Modem with a phone jack for the Comcast phone service. What Modem only is recommended which includes phone jack? null

I am in the same situation as you with Comcast and unfortunately I have not been able to locate a cable modem that also includes the telephone connectivity for their VOIP service.

You would need a DSL compatible modem. There are several available from different manufacturers but you should check with your provider if the one you want to buy is compatible.
