A:AnswerNo, the shield itself cannot stream the exact same video to multiple devices. You can install Plex Media Server on the Shield and stream to other devices with the Plex client, however.
A:AnswerGoogle Assistant works for me through the Shield Pro just fine. I'm able to wake up the Shield Pro using Google Assistant, which automatically turns on both my receiver and my Samsung Q80r TV.

It comes preset with many apps and also has google play store which can download other apps. See if spectrum has an app for google play and if so, then you can download it onto the shield.

The Shield has the Google Play Store as it is an android based device. I personally use it for streaming media from Plex without issue.
