• This is essentially a "hub" for all the TV apps you use to watch TV. Like Netflix, Amazon, Sling, etc. You still have to pay the subscription fees for any APP you use. It is constantly updated and very well supported. So it is perfect for a central unit for all your OTA and streaming Apps

• I imagine the apps are like your cellphone there are free apps and the ones you have to pay for it but for that you mat have to pay for the subscription
