Would a VR set work for an Alienware Computer? I’m thinking about getting a set, but I have found out that some computers can’t handle it. If I’m getting one I want to know if it even works null

As long as your computer meet the minimum requirements below, it should work:
NVIDIA GTX 970 / AMD 290 equivalent or greater.
Intel i5-4590 processor equivalent or greater.
8GB+ RAM.
Compatible HDMI 1.3 video output.
2 USB 3.0 ports.
Windows 7 SP1 or newer

Most computers will indicate now if they're VR-ready. 

Bare minimum to look for:
Intel i5-level processor
GeForce GTX 1050 video card

I went with i7-7700 & GTX 1070, opting for the HP Omen instead of a comparable Alienware that was $100-$200 more expensive.

So long as your PC has at least a GeForce 1060 or equivalent, as well as minimum of 16g of memory it should work fine. I am currently running a GeForce 1070 with 16g memory and an Intel I5 processor and it works just fine.

You can download either the oculus compatibility tool or the steamvr tool to determine if your system is capable of running eiher VR system.
