• No. You must use the microphone jack. Cable with jacks on each end may have impedance matching problem with Skype device: so you have to try it. Or just hold Olympus near Skype speakers.

• Noit is not possible to use the USB for audio input on this recorder. It does ave an external Microphone jack so you may be able to connect a 3.5mm Phono jack from the sound card on your computer to the Mic jack on the recorder. However you will need to work out the details pof how it would co -exist with the speakers on the computer. This not an area that Olympus Tech support can support
