Q: QuestionI have a Samsung laptop computer that is running Windows 7. I got a runtime error that i couldn't get past so did a F4 reboot and it went to factory settings and I lost everything as far as my files and all. Is all lost now? I'm really praying not

Q: QuestionSo, I have an HP EliteBook 840 g3 and the screen is black but the fan is running and the LED light in the keyboard turn on at first but then they turn off. I have tried holding down the B button, the Windows button and the power button for a second.

Q: QuestionI restarted my computer yesterday and now it’s saying “An Ethernet cable looks broken but with larger connections on the ends..” but I don’t use cables my network is wireless so I did some troubleshooting. I have tried everything, any ideas to fix it.

Q: QuestionMy old laptop runs fine, but the monitor light goes out after a minute or two. Is this something that can be repaired? I can see dimly that the laptop is running, and the desktop is up, but the monitor light is too dim to use. Thanks!

• A:Answer Just replacing a cracked screen and dead hard drive alone may cost more than half the value of that laptop, not to mention there may be other internal damages that have yet to surface. Laptops are fragile so they can not sustain any drop at all.
