• You cannot use 4ohms speakers according to ONKYO you will destroy the receiver go with 6 ohms or 8 ohms. The Best Buy rep . should have advise you. AVS forums on You Tube or Audioholics I

• A TX NR656 will deliver 210 watts per channel into 4 ohms to the front 2 speakers for short periods of time. It will shut down after a while because of overheating. It will also produce some distortion and burn out speakers that are not designed to take that level of power.
