“Purchased a Onkyo tx nr656. Thinking about hooking up a pair of old school Cerwin Vegas AT-15 (400 watts) to the Onkyo. Notice no place for a power amp. Would this be to much for the Onkyo to push at 170 watts.”

I have no problem with my pair Polk at 300 watts each. Very good so far as I have only used it for 1 week.
