- Answer This unit comes with RCA jack cables and an optical cable that connect it to my Receiver / amplifier to play the CDs. No speakers. It is not a self contained player.

QuestionWill this CD player work with the Onkyo remote (RC-223S) I already have with my Onkyo TX-930 receiver?I already have an excellent Onkyo TX-930 Tuner/Amplifier unit equipped with a remote control indicating it should also work for the buttons indicating "CD player" controls (as well as "Deck A" & "Deck B" controls for controlling Tape and/or Phonograph units, I presume). To be able to operate both my Onkyo Receiver and this Onkyo CD Player with the same remote would be perfect!
