I just bought a new Onkyo TX Sr393 at Best Buy, It was to replace my old Onkyo SR 605. This old one was changing the sound mode by itself and I couldn’t update the software without send back to an authorized repair shop. That and it only had 2 hdmi ports. I just got a Firestick 4K and I needed at least 3 ports. The new receiver looked like it had plenty of power and goods specs. However, I can’t make the Fire Stick 4K to pass through on the 3rd port. The worst is the sound. It has plenty of bells and whistles but for the life of me I can’t get to sound anything like the old one. I kept the new one too long to take back. The new one was cheap. $225. I mentally forgot that you get what you what you pay for. So, I would recommend a higher end Onkyo or a Pioneer or Yahama. Good luck.
