“I have connected my arc capable Panasonic TV via hdmi to an onkyo tsxr393 home theather and powered on. The face of receiver says initial set up see tv. I have turned on tv and nothing regarding set up appears. TV not seeing receiver?”

The only suggestion that I have is to make sure the connections are both connected to ARC connected and your TV input has that input selected.
