“I have my receiver connected to a pair of older Bose speakers. Sound is good but I have t0 have the volume up to about 50 or 60 before I can hear it. Is this normal? If not how to I remedy it.”

• Bought this for my dad and he has a set of older speakers and the volume has to be set to 50 or 60 also. So for older speakers this seems to be normal.

• I have this issue also with a set of Boston Acoustic speakers. I think that it is normal so that you don't blow out the speakers by turning up too high accidentally.
