Yes, it will connect to your Bluetooth phone and play your music. It will receive your Bluetooth signal but it will not send out a Bluetooth signal to connect your headphones to the sound coming out of the system.

We were able to quickly pair up this unit with an android phone via Bluetooth. Has been working fine.
