Yes, it will work great with the Bose system. Just choose the 5.1 speaker system during the initial setup (or after if you skip it like I did). Since the Bose has some audio level tweaks of its own, the adjustments available via this receiver may not be needed, but they are there and could possibly help. You should be able to get excellent sound with this & the Bose.
