• Receiver and 4K HDMI cables is will be enough. TV can be 1080p or 2160p from A/V receiver.

• No, you do not need video up scaling on a receiver for you 4K TV.

• Your tv will upscale, this is merely a passthrough. But you can connect true 4k source and your tv will not have to upscale, as the receiver will pass through the 4k plus HDR (HDCP 2.2 ON ALL HDMI PORTS)
