Yes. You can "port" your existing number to your Ooma service for a fee. Ooma provides a process on their website for doing that. It takes about 10 days for the port to complete. In the meantime, you cannot disconnect your existing service.

Yes, you can "port" the number over to Ooma. I did this with my home number. There is a one-time charge (29$?) and takes about 10 days-ish. Or you can choose from a number of other options. For family and business I've acquired 5 Ooma devices. I would also go to their website for any additional information.
