You can use any phone to connect to the main Ooma unit. For extensions in other rooms, you’re probably going to need to either purchase the Ooma Linx device, or just buy their phones.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I can't answer yes to every phone type (that would be a good question for Ooma customer support), but I can answer yes to at least to my Panasonic DECT 6.0, 5 handsets w/ base phone. I have 2 phone jacks that use to be for two separate phone lines that were later wired together by the cable company's VOIP technician, I previously had before getting Ooma. The Panasonic base station is located in the master bedroom and Ooma is connected to the phone line in the spare bedroom and this work perfectly, allowing all 5 handsets to ring when I get a call. So I can't unequivocally answer yes to all phones working with Ooma, but I'd venture to say that all modern phone types should work with Ooma. You might want to check the Ooma website FQA's where someone may have asked this question and see Ooma's response to this query, or just ask their customer support outright.
