• Yes, you would have to open the dash up. They connected it to some auxiliary unused wire and threaded it to my glove box for easy access. It's worth having them do the work if you are not sure.

• When I installed it I tapped my fuse box with fuse taps that you can get at an auto parts store for around $4-6. Just make sure you know the size of your fuses.
