No!, you don’t. It’s just a newer one with all that you would to install. If you have Bose and OnStar, I believe there is one that is much less from the same company. P.s. in my Best Buy when I purchase it on line and did a store pick up there was 2 items missing. It turned out that the kit doesn’t include the attenna adapter, when in fact that they show you a complete package and you don’t even get, it’s an extra 13.99 for the adapter. Can you say double dipping.
