“Is this needed for an 05 Gmc Canyon without bose or steering wheel controls”

• My Suburban had Bose and steering wheel controls. My installer told me I had the right and therefore more expensive harness so all that worked easily. So am GUESSING there is another, less expensive one, available. Can you go to the store and talk to an installer? Good luck
