My protector keeps shutting off when my tv is not in use. It flashes the red "!" (Like it does when the pwr goes out) I've tried to switch outlets but it still does it and I checked voltage coming out of wall, it's fine. I'd my proctor faulty? null

It may also be an unstable power supply. If the power is to low or fluctuates it will not let you turn equipment on

This may be a defective unit. Return to Best Buy or contact the manufacturer.

sounds to me like its the protecter ,you might want to send it back, i havent had any problems.
