Q: what surge protector can hold a charge if power goes out? Thank you.

Q: Would it be OK to plug 2 of these into a single outlet (standard 2-socket outlet)?
A: Plugging in two units is fine. It’s what you connect to those units and any other appliances on the circuit that make a difference. I would not. If it is a dedicated circuit, 20 amp circuit, then yes. You should be fine. For instance, a sub and amp along with other normal lower voltage appliances like Xbox, cable tv box. Will be fine on dedicated circuit because they will not all be on at the same time. Treat it like a surge protector. Too many appliances and you’ll get the flickering light, vacuum cleaner effect. I am not an electrician or engineer. I have doec’d a few home theaters as my reference. Stay safe
Q: Are you able to turn off all the lights on the front?
A: Yes. There is a button for the LED display of the voltage and one for the amber down lights. Because this unit is front facing in my HT, I found the voltage color distracting and turned it all the way off. I have the amber downlights at the lowest setting, just before the off setting and don't mind it at all.
Q: what does the red warning light mean? Can I unplug it?

A: It may also be an unstable power supply. If the power is to low or fluctuates it will not let you turn equipment on
