• Don't know about vontage, but phone does not need additional jacks for each set.

• I just installed these today at my camp. Only the base unit needs a landline jack. The other three charging bases can go anywhere where there is a power outlet. Sorry I don’t know about Vontage.

• Panasonic 4 link handset phones should work . I don't have Vontage, but it works well with my carrier. You only need one phone jack for the base unit, the other hand sets just plug into a regular eletrical outlet.
