Pros: The 4 units allow coverage throughout the house; the intercom feature which allows you to call each unit and talk is handy; the buttons light up when you pick up the phone off the cradle; the clarity of the sound is very good; provides many features similar to a cell phone. Cons: The center navigation button does not light up so you need to memorize the positions for redial, phone book, volume and caller ID if you are in low light or don’t see well; the call announcer has very strange pronunciation that makes it difficult to understand; the phone is a bit too narrow for a good grip; you have to remember to lay it down face up or it pushes buttons, which is counter to a cell phone.

    Wonderful Cordless Phone System

These phones have been working great. Their sound is clear, and the volume is good. The speaker phone feature works well. The Caller ID seems to be working OK. The Call Block feature seems to be working fine. The phone signal from the base unit seems to be very strong and reaches all across my home, which is about 3,000 square feet in size. The answering system works fine. I have not tried linking these Panasonic cordless phones to my cell phones so I cannot evaluate that feature. This Panasonic phone system has worked fine with both an AT&T conventional landline setup as well as a VOIP setup. I am currently using the system with a VOIP setup. For my purposes, I am very pleased with this Panasonic cordless phone system.

This phone replaced an AT&T that had a cheap ear speaker. This Panasonic works well, has a CALL BLOCK button, which I haven't tried yet. It is a great phone functionally as a phone. I'm glad I have this phone. Great price and all the extras I needed. Downsides are: 1) This phone requires a 1.2v AA rechargeable battery which is a little harder to find and replace than the standard 1.5v AA rechargeable batteries. From what I've read online, the 1.5v rechargeable *may* damage these phones. Panasonic-Your phones would be more attractive to buy if you gave the consumer some standard replacement parts such as the battery rather than making it more difficult to use your phone in the long term. Maybe in the 4-5 years I need a new battery they will be easier to find, or I won't need a landline anymore. Otherwise, this rating would have been a 5/5. 2) All phones are getting smaller which makes it harder to hold with your shoulder while trying to write or work while talking. Somehow I manage with this one.

I bought these for my elderly parents. Setup was simple. Phones are easy to use for basic functions and I hear them much clearer than their past model. Great phones. I recommend them for a land line user.

Phones don't seem to last long in our house, but the last panasonic with 2 handsets lasted about 10 years and we really liked the features we used. So happy to find another, more improved panasonic, on sale, and upgraded to 4 handsets . Now we don't have to race to one central phone. The talking caller ID is our favorite feature, and we also like the ability to check previous calls using the CID feature, as not everyone leaves messages. Our last system had long lasting batteries....still the original. Hope this new version will last as long.

I wonder why I waited so long to buy a new phone system after I started using this phone. Extremely easy to setup and use. Blocks unwanted phone numbers with one touch. Volume on the voicemail playback could be a little louder & would like the feature to turn the ringer off on the handset.

This phone system works great and looks great. I love the fact that is has call blocking availability. The sound is loud and clear. You can store many phone numbers and has talking caller ID. Some times that is a little garbled but you can turn it off if you don’t want it. It also has the option to purchase a waterproof unit, which I am thinking of adding for when I am in my pool. Very happy with it.

These phones have been great for our home. The battery lasts for quite a while and the sound quality is excellent. I like that it comes with multiple phones since we sometimes forget to hang them up after use.

Best phone system for homes! Bought this phone system because our old Vtech system was dropping calls so it was time to update. Love that it lights up, speaks out loud the name of the caller, and has a CALL BLOCK button for those spam calls. Crisp, clear sound, has a hold feature and easy to replace old phones and set up. Very highly recommend this system, so glad I got it as I need a very reliable phone working from home.

Good phones, a bit more complicated than the last Panasonic one I had prior. This one makes some things easier some thing more difficult to achieve. The option to link to your cellphone is great but seems pretty complicated to me. Even things like creating and then displaying the location of the phone is not the same. I don't see the display and therefore know which phone belongs where (even though they are interchangeable.) The Call block button on the handset is great and this has a much greater limit on numbers of blocked calls than the last set. The cradle for the phones also are a little temperamental and you have to place them at the correct angle or the handset will fall out or knock over the cradle. Not a big deal once you get used to it. Also the handsets don't accept a headset that plugs in any more, just Bluetooth. Generally good cordless phones.

No key pad or speaker phone option on the main docking station so keep the handset close by; the sound quality is good; the individual charging bases are vey light-weight and fall off the table easily (when the handset is removed) because of the weight of the cord. The handset is comfortable and easy to read.

We have been operating this telephone set for about three weeks. So far we have found it to be an excellent product. It is a well constructed product, built solid. It was very easy to set up. The reception is good in all four units, throughout the house. It has great features. I especially like the block call button which allows you to immediately block any unwanted calls.

Fairly easy to set up. Fairly easy to use. Sound quitiy very good. Wish to option to block calls had a large capacity. The connecting of cell phones is a real plus, you don't need to have your cell phone within arms reach when it's linked to this system. Again it would be nice if it was able to support more than just two cell phones for those who have more than two in a family.

Easy to set up. Easy to use. Like the fact that I can set up 2 cell phone using blue tooth on the home phone system. That lets me use my headset. Replay of messages is straight forward. One of the phones is upstairs and so the ability to call from one handset to another is very handy. Phone system does what we need it to do and works quite well so far.

The phone has great range. Down loading contacts was very easy since one could transfer information from an Apple Smart Phone, saving a lot of typing. The only disadvantage is the answering machine portion of the phone does not have an audible announcement of a new message received.

I have owned this phone system for a little over two years and it has performed wonderfully. The range is remarkable when I carry the handset out into my large yard to do gardening work. We initially had a problem with one of the handsets but the company promptly replaced it. The sound quality of this phone is very good, even when using the speaker phone function. That is not always the case in other phone systems we have owned. This unit is so good I helped a friend, who is technically challenged, to set up his unit and it has worked flawlessly for him. Great phone system!
