A:AnswerNo. It’s not like cell phones. I suggest writing all the numbers down first in your phone book from your old phone before deleting them and then you will have to enter them manually into your new phone.
A:AnswerWe have not had a problem. Our home is about 2600 sq feet - 2 story. Since the phones are wireless walls and obstructions can interfere with the signal. I would try moving the base station to other locations in the home.
Someplace more central. If the current location is in a corner of the house and the bedroom is say 60 ft away in the opposite corner moving the phone to a central location will reduce the distance to say 30 ft. That might enable the signal to reach all the phones.
A:AnswerHello. The phone system can be used without a landline connection. You can use the LinktoCell feature and synchronize the system to your cellular phone, and use the cellular line. You can review the cell phones tested for compatibility with the KX-TGD86, on the Panasonic Telephone Cell Phone Compatibility List FAQ. -G
A:AnswerHello! The base unit, where the answering machine, needs to be plugged into an outlet, it does not run on batteries. This part alone cannot be purchased separately. -M
