Once you add a number to the phone book it will be on all 3 phones. You don't have to re-enter them in each phone. Also there is plenty of room for numbers, I have entered several numbers & when I go to "add new entry" it says I have over 2,900 remaining entries. I'd say it holds 3,000 numbers total. Which is great compared to my last phone that only held 50.
