A:AnswerIt depends if your AV receiver handles 4K UHD video. If not you can plug the high speed cable from TV into blue ray player and then connect the lower resolution output to the AV receiver where you normally plug in your DVD. In setup mode on Blue Ray player, set the low resolution output to audio only.
The only problem is if you have other HMDI DEVICES on you AV receiver to watch, you will need to move the TV cable from the DVD player to the AV receiver output.
Switching tv cable back and for could be done with an HMDI switch.
