Sat in my car parked in the sun all summer. No glitches. Make sure u don’t get a generic SD card though, SanDisk and Samsung are pretty much the only options. I tried Lexar before and the videos glitched pretty bad and I figured out it was the SD card, not the DashCam.

I would remove it and place in the glove compartment or the armrest compartment (if the car has one). It will get hotter if left on the windshield versus if place in the car's compartment. I especially remove it when I know the car will be parked for a prolonged period of time. Always remember to place the dashcam back when driving and don't turn it off until complete park. The main purpose of the device is to record video as of evidence if you or others might need it.

So far the highest was parked at Magic Kingdom it registered 135 degree's and the unit still works. Now if I don't trust where I park I unhook the suction cup mount and place in the glove compartment. So far I have had no problem with the suction cup mount. Second day I took the SD card out put it in my Windows computer and watched my driving. No added software needed. It also records me calling everyone a a__hole. I got it on Deal of the Day for $99 and am very happy (so far).
