The drone is not waterproof nor will it float. My first Anafi is still on the bottom of a stream. There are aftermarket styrofoam balls that will attach to the legs and provide bouyancy. I believe the Anafi also has a low power mode that enables the "return home" feature.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Do NOT lose power over water. It's low power landing feature views water as a perfectly acceptable place to land. The drone will NOT float. Salt Water will kill the drone immediately. Freshwater will do unknown damage, but I guarantee damage as the drone lands on water in a powered up state. Please learn from my distraction of not watching my state of charge while filming.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it’s definitely not and will not float but wish it was!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Blt, Like almost every other drone currently available, the Anafi is not waterproof, and will not float if it lands in water. Anafi is a highly engineered and most reliable machine. In almost 200 flights I have never experienced my drone loosing power unexpectedly. Judicious piloting will prevent many unfortunate incidents. If you have concerns relative to these issues, you might secure drone insurance at a very reasonable rate to cover such eventualities. Thanks!
