Yes you can use a galaxy with the Sky controller and the FPV glasses, I used my galaxy s7 and now I use the s8, both works perfectly. I used a galaxy tab A 10.1 with the sky controller and its great. I feel a better range when flying only with the tablet than only with the phone. The follow me option only works with devices with gps, so if u wanna use a tablet and the follow me, try to buy a tablet with gps.

I also have a Samsung Galaxy tab3 10.1 that it works well with. I don't know if that is a good price according to your requirements, but it works well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, Android or iOS devices will work with this drone. I typically only fly with my iPhone, but I could fly with any iOS device that I own. The same is true of Android with its mix of tablets. As long as the app runs on the device you can use it. Note: The mount for the sky controller will not hold a standard or large size tablet so you will want to get your hands on the device at the store and see which tablets will fit.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use a Samsung S6 with mine. Works fine. The only use for a tablet with the drone would be to download the video after flights. You cannot use a tablet as a video screen for the camera.
