The Bebop 2 uses Smartphone WiFi and not the cellphone network. The smartphone talks directly to the drone via WiFi link. There is no charges because you are not using the cellphone network as you would for phone calls or accessing the internet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use a Samsung S6 that does not have a cell carrier connection when flying mine. The drone and the controller both have GPS chips in them. The only thing your phone might use network for is logging into your Parrot account or downloading satellite maps for optional app features.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you must have GPS enabled on your phone. the skycontroller 2 will help to maintain the charge on your phone. it is recommended to remove your phone from the fpv google when finished as your phone will get quite warm during flying.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Uses GPS, and probably minimal data usage (for updates and what not). Shouldn't effect a noticeable amount of cost i wouldn't think
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The drone has its own GPS and then puts out a wifi signal that you connect thru to your phone. It does not use your data.
