Yes, you can use the VR glasses with other apps on your phone.

Please try again later.My buddy was able to use his VR app with my glasses and we were able to look at a roller coaster app with it, but keep in mind that the glasses are NOT interactive like Gear VR or Oculus (no buttons), so if you want to play games, odds are this wouldn't be a good option. Movies in a VR mode though - fantastic!

Please try again later.I haven't personally tried it yet and can't find a direct answer to the same question BUT, I've read on the Bebop 2 forum that some have used other VR glasses with the BB2 so my best guess would be that if they're using other VR glasses with this drone then we should be able to use these glasses with other VR software.
