“My current computer has two usb ports used - 1 for the wifi adapter and the other for the wireless keyboard/mouse. I notice this model only has 2 usb ports. would this computer need both of those as well, and therefor have no open ports left?”

Mine has 4 USB ports and no need for a Wi-Fi adapter.

I have the same computer. I bought a USB hub that I stuck in one of the ports, which gives me 4 more-accessible USB ports.

It actually has 4 USB ports. However, you are right, you can use them up quick. So I had to buy a USB multi port (4 extra ports).

This computer has 4 USB-A ports: two USB 2.0, one USB 3.1-Type A and one USB 3.1-Type A charging. It also has a USB-C port on the bottom. So there are 5 total.
