“Does this controller work with the actual handheld switch, or does it have to plug into the switch charging dock? Thanks”

• Thank you for your question, Lisa. This controller was meant to plug into the Switch charging dock. It might be possible to connect it to the handheld switch with an adapter, but we haven't been able to verify if that works as intended. -PDP Customer Experience
