“Do I need a bridge to voice control this app? I have the new echo plus. I can control it with in the Alexa app but not by voice.”

• If you have the echo plus you should be able to voice control it, I do it all the time. You might need to enable it in app and label the light.

• you should be able to control it by voice. It may help to reset your echo to factory settings and re-install it. It might just need to be updated.

• Yes you do need some sort of bridge for voice control wether it’s Alexa or you iPhone or google assistant.
