I use 6 of these outdoors in enclosed fixtures and have had no problems with them. The fixture keeps them protected from the elements.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We have six of them installed between two outdoor carriage lights. It's been a month, but so far so good. We bought them solely for this purpose. I also have two of the regular 60watt equivalent bulbs in the two outdoor lights by our front door. Have had those for a few months with no issues either.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They don't recommend it if the bulbs are exposed. I have a enclosure for my front door and so the bulbs are not exposed to the elements. I believe that Phillips has announced that they are coming out with a Hue line for outdoor use. The only other thing that you have to make sure is that your wifi/hue bridge signal is in range of the bulbs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I dont think so since the hue bulb needs to communicate with the Hue bridge which you connect to your wifi router. Thats the way it gets software updates and the ability to work with smart speakers and the app you download on your phone to control the lights.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If ur talking about Hughes Net... It Useless it takes too long to send a command to the Hue Hub.
